Crisp, Mineral & Vibrant

Pale to medium straw yellow with lots of bubbles!

Aromas of vibrant green apple & green pear with white flowers & some yeast.

Flavors of tart citrus. Very dry on palate with pronounced minerality & vibrant acidity when labeled "Brut". Surprisingly, slightly sweeter when labeled "Extra-dry" & noticeably sweeter when labeled "Dry". The "driest" (most tart/acidic) versions are labeled "Brut Nature" or "Extra-Brut".

A blend (cuvée) usually containing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & often Meunier.

Labeled "Blanc de Blancs" when made only from white grapes.

Labeled "Blanc de Noirs" when made only from red grapes and then often fruitier.

Labeled "NV" for Non-Vintage when made from grapes of multiple vintages.

High quality French sparkler wines not from the Champagne region are often labeled "Crémant".
