Pale to medium straw yellow with lots of bubbles!

Aromas of dense lemon with earthiness.

Flavors of ripe lemon, apple and earthy spice.

Mostly commonly dry "Brut" on palate but available sweeter as well. From driest to sweetest labelled; Brut Nature, Extra Brut, Brut, Semi Seco, Dulce

Produced like quality Champagne in the traditional method but with native Spanish grapes and value priced. The Macabeo, Parellada and Xarello are the most popular and traditional grape varieties for producing cava.

Cava Gran Reserva is the highest quality with more than 30 months aging in the bottle.

Rosé Cavas are also produced using mostly the Trepat red-wine grape variety indigenous to northeastern Spain.
